But Mommy Said
How the days slip away so quickly! Today was the beginning of using one parent's words to trump the other. Tonight as I nursed Miniature to sleep I overheard those 3 little words from the other room, "But Mommy said...". Mr. Bell and I decided long ago that we would be 1 team. We would not allow our kids to think one of us would buckle under pressure and give in to their desires if the other parent already gave a response. We would be united. Tonight I realized we are there. No longer are the days I can 'use an excuse' to prolong H-Man's desires. I now must choose my words carefully. Where did the time go!?
